I am Yuliia Mei, a photographer based in San Francisco. I was trained as a designer, and that education shaped my professional eye: it taught me to see composition, to find balance in a frame, and to work with colour and shade. Design formed my aesthetic vision. In life, I realised that in everything I try to see beauty, so I picked up a camera to be able to capture it. That is how my photography began.
The automotive series on this page was shot at Warm Up Ukraine in the Bay Area.
Selected images the same evening, the full edited gallery within 24 hours. I am currently seeking an editorial commission to cover the F1 Academy finale in Las Vegas, 19-21 November 2026.

The examples below are from large public events: concerts, crowds and full stadiums. Photographing at this scale means working among tens of thousands of people, in changing light, and still finding the frame: the stage, the field, and the faces in the stands.
It is the same skill a race weekend needs: night sessions under floodlights, packed grandstands and fan zones, and the atmosphere of the whole venue, not only the action in the centre.
